Xiaomi’s POCO sub-brand has continued to expand its phones catalog with the introduction of two new low-cost handsets: the X4 Pro 5G and M4 Pro.
The POCO X4 Pro 5G features a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz.
The X4 Pro 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s 6nm Snapdragon 695 chipset, which is coupled with up to 8Gigabytes of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The device’s big camera bump encompasses a triple-lens arrangement with a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP macro lens.
The phone has a 5,000mAh battery that, according to POCO, can last up to 15 hours of video playback. 67W turbo charging is also supported, allowing the X4 Pro 5G to be charged from 0 – 100 % in just about 40 minutes. A Z-axis linear motor, an Infrared blaster, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are also included in the POCO X4 Pro 5G.
The POCO M4 Pro, on the other hand, features a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a 16-megapixel selfie camera enclosed within the centered hole-punch cutout. The device is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G96 chipset and includes LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus to ensure smooth performance even during extended gaming sessions.
The POCO M4 Pro has a triple-camera set – up on the back, with a 64MP main sensor, a 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. In terms of battery capacity it has a massive 5,000mAh battery with 33W “Pro fast charging”
The device also has dual stereo speakers, NFC, an IR blaster, IP53 splash-proof protection, and a fingerprint sensor on the side. Both the X4 Pro 5G and M4 Pro run MIUI 13 for POCO, which is based on Android 11.
What’s The Price of The POCO X4 Pro 5G and POCO M4 Pro?
The POCO X4 Pro 5G will go on sale in Europe on March 2 for €269 for the 6GB/128GB version and €319 for the 8GB/256GB version, with a “early bird” price of €269 for the 6GB/128GB version and €319 for the 8GB/256GB version. POCO’s M4 Pro, like the X4 Pro 5G, will be available in Europe starting March 2. It will be available for €199 for the 6GB/128GB version and €249 for the 8GB/256GB version as an early bird special.
