This is the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, Dual Selfie Cameras: Nay or Yea

The Galaxy S10 leak that we recently saw was for the official render of the S10+ (the biggest variant). It still came with a front camera and a triple camera system at the back which is also the same thing with the other CAD renders – that’s the one that had three cameras and not four.

The date that the render is sold online is always different from the announcement date. With the way that events are going to take place on February 20, we presume that the device will be sold from March 8.

The picture shows that the phone came with a front-facing dual camera, placed in a cutout display. So far, we don’t know the works of the second camera but we hope that it is a wide-angle selfie camera. Looking at the picture, you will see that that the bezels in the display is smaller when compared with the Galaxy S9+. We hope that what it means is that the screen – to – body ratio will be higher.  Also, we assume that the device will come with AMOLED panel likely with a QHD+ resolution.

A look at the device shows that it came with a white pearl colour with faint red and blue hues at the back. We can see also the heart rate monitor that is normally seen in Samsung flagships just beside the triple camera set up next to the LED flash. We expect to see a fingerprint scanner below the camera but there are rumours that Samsung might come up with an ultrasonic reader which will be embedded in the display of both S10+ and S10.

As for the biometric, we don’t think that the device will support Iris scanner for biometric authentication. There are strong indications that Samsung might start facing out the feature with the S10.

We expect the official announcement of the Galaxy S10 at an event this month. Rumours revealed that the device will come in three variants; one 5.8 – inch, one 6.1 – inch and the S10+ with 6.4 – inch display. The device is likely to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or an Exynos 9820 chipset, that’s depending on the market.
