Umidigi X Design And Display
Umidigi X has a 6.35-inch AMOLED display with an HD+ (720p) resolution and a 269ppi. The display uses a 19:9 aspect ratio with a waterdrop notch cutout at the top for the front-facing camera. A small chin is also visible at the bottom.
Underneath the display lies the optical fingerprint sensor for biometric unlock which leaves the back of the device with just the triple camera set-up and the dual-LED flash.
The back itself is made of plastic and comes in two colours Black with red accents and Gradient. Overall, this device weighs 404grams and measures 8.1mm in thickness.
Camera
In the camera department, we have a total of 4 cameras sitting on this device. At the front, for selfies, is the single 16MP shooter with an f/2.0 aperture that can also be used for face unlock. It also has AI beauty and DIY beautify. The rest of the cameras are at the back.
The triple rear cameras consist of a 48MP mains sensor with an f/1.79 aperture, an 8MP ultrawide angle sensor with a 120° field of view and lastly, a 5MP depth sensor.
The rear cameras here are equipped with features like AI scene recognition, HDR, Panorama, dual-LED flash and a Super night mode for photos in low light conditions. The rear camera can also shoot 1080p videos at 30fps.

Umidigi went with the Mediatek Helio P60 Chipset for this device. This chipset has an octa-core processor clocking speeds of up to 2.1GHz paired with a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU for gaming. This is hooked up to 4GB of RAM for smooth multitasking through apps and 128GB of internal storage for all your files.
You can add more storage but the expense of losing one SIM slot as the second SIM slot doubles as MicroSD card slot (Hybrid-SIM). If you choose to use a MicroSD card, this device can accommodate up to 256GB of additional storage.
As for the software, it runs Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with no skin or UI slapped on top. This means this device is running stock Android and with that comes two years worth of software updates and three years worth of security updates.

Umidigi X has been fitted with a 4,150mAh battery which supports fast charging of up to 18W through its USB Type-C port. It also has dual 4G VoLTE connectivity with global bands.
