Vivo S1 Pro Design And Display
Vivo S1 Pro has a similar design to the non-pro model. It has a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and no notch in sight. It also has an impressive 91% screen-to-body ratio. The selfie camera is fitted into a pop-up compartment at the top right side of the device.
It comes out when you switch to the front-facing camera and retracts when the camera is not in use. Asides from having the power button and volume buttons at the right side of the phone, it also has a dedicated button at the left for the AI voice assistant called Jovi. The back of the device only has a triple camera setup and an LED flash with the finger sensor placed underneath the display. Colour options available for both devices as at now are Red and Blue. It also has a dual SIM card slot and Dedicated MicroSD card slot for additional storage.
vivo S1 Pro Camera Review
Vivo S1 Pro comes with a triple camera setup. A 48MP main sensor with Quad-Bayer Technology, a secondary 8MP wide-angle sensor and lastly, a 5MP depth sensor for depth sensing. It also has an LED flash to lit up low light shots, HDR for good dynamic range and Panorama. It can also shoot 1080p videos at 30fps. As for selfie, the 32MP sensor held by the pop-up compartment does the job. It can equally shoot 1080p videos at 30fps.
vivo S1 Pro Hardware and Software
Vivo S1 Pro uses the all-new Snapdragon 675 SoC from Qualcomm. This Chipset has eight cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.8GHz paired with an Adreno 612 GPU. It also has 6GB or 8GB of RAM on board for all your multitasking needs, both of which comes with a whopping 256GB of storage space for files. You can expand the storage further via the MicroSD card slot onboard. As expected, the device runs Vivo’s Funtouch 9 UI on top of the latest Android 9.0 Pie.
Battery & Network Connectivity
A 3,700mAh battery powers this device and can be charged through a micro USB port located between the speakers. No word on fast charging support yet. It also has 4G LTE connectivity, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, WiFi Direct, GPS, Bluetooth and a 3.5mm jack so no need for a dongle.
