Vivo has released the latest of its smartphones, the S1 — a midranger designed in the way as the V15, which made its debut a couple of weeks ago. This new release from the Chinese phone brand is powered by almost the same hardware, too.
The device comes with a 6.53-inch Full-HD+ notchless display, with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, along with an Helio P70 SoC working in collaboration with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM that gives you the option of expanding it further using a microSD card. The Vivo SI runs out-of-the-box Android Pie (v9.0) with Funtouch OS 9.
In the camera department, it sports a 24.8MP pop-up secondary camera for taking selfies and a triple primary rear camera setup, which comprises 12MP, 8MP (wide-angle), as well as 5MP (depth sensor) shooters. It offers a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The vivo S1 smartphone is designed with the Jovi AI-based voice assistant of the phone maker that is activated when you press the dedicated button on the left side. Also, it comes with Game Turbo mode up for a better gaming experience.
Finally, the device is available in Pet Pink and Ice Lake Blue colors, with a 3,940-mAh battery that has 18W fast-charging support. The S1 goes for CNY2,298 (around $342 or €304) and will hit stores in China from the 1st of April.
