Reports suggesting that Xiaomi’s MIX FOLD 4 would see a global launch have been debunked by Gizmochina. Thorough investigations have confirmed that the foldable smartphone will be exclusively sold in China, contradicting earlier claims.
The Xiaomi MIX FOLD 4, which promises significant advancements over its predecessor, the MIX FOLD 3, has garnered considerable anticipation. The device, codenamed “Goku” with the internal model number “N18,” is slated to offer substantial upgrades in performance and camera capabilities. Our sources confirm that this foldable device will not be available outside of China.
The MIX FOLD 4 comes in two variants with model numbers “24072PX77C” and “24076PX3BC.” The former includes satellite communication capabilities, while the latter does not. The “C” at the end of both model numbers signifies its exclusivity to the Chinese market.
Meanwhile, the MIX Flip, another foldable device from Xiaomi, is set to launch globally. The MIX Flip, codenamed “Ruyi” with the internal model number “N8,” will be available in several countries, including Turkey. Xiaomi’s initial attempt at a Flip device, codenamed “Argo,” was planned for release in 2021 but was subsequently shelved and redesigned.
The Xiaomi MIX FOLD 4, alongside the MIX Flip and other anticipated products such as the Redmi K70 Ultra, is expected to be unveiled in July. With its high-performance Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 engine and quad rear camera system, the MIX FOLD 4 is primed to make a huge impression in the foldable smartphone industry.
