Chinese tech company Xiaomi will be holding a special event on September 24th. Headlining this event will be the company’s duo 5G-enabled smartphones – Mi 9 Pro and Mi Mix 4.
A new Mi TV will be unveiled in the event and MIUI 11 will be made open to the general public. This is a must-watch event for all Mi fans worldwide.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro comes as a pro version of the Mi 9 which was released back in March. The device will feature the same 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display seen on the Mi 9. It is expected to come with Snapdragon 855+ chipset with 4,000 mAh battery.
Reminder, the Mi 9 features Snapdragon 855 chipset with 3,300 mAh battery. So it’s a decent upgrade from that. The Mi 9 Pro will also be launched with the company’s new 30W Mi Charge Turbo wireless charging feature.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 4 which will succeed the Mi Max 3 is also expected to pack Snapdragon 855+ chipset laced with 12GB RAM. The device will run Android 10 out of the box and a curved QHD display. According to insiders source, the Mi Max 4 will feature the world’s first 108MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor paired with 16MP wide-angle and 12MP telephoto sensors. There is also a possibility of the name being changed to “Mi Max Alpha”.
As it is with other smartphones heading into its launch date, the company will release more information about the two devices along the way.
