You have heard about Xiaomi couple of times and this may not be the first time you are hearing the name. The brand which is fondly called the Apple of China due to its innovative mobile technology similar to that of Apple has just released three [3] devices into the market-its latest laptop and two mobile phones with mouth-watering specs
Firstly, let’s talk about the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro which is the latest laptop from the brand. The Laptop which is believed to be targeted at Apple loyalists is packed with top of the line features and is powered by the Intel’s latest quad-core i7 processor with up to 16GB of RAM, 1TB of SSD storage, and Nvidia’s GeForce MX150 graphics depending on the variant you go for.
Worthy of note is the fingerprint sensor built into a precision trackpad, the Mi NoteBook Pro comes with narrow bezels, making it one of the smallest 15.6” laptops around. The body is made from magnesium alloy and weighs 1.95kg.
In terms of the display, what you are getting is a 1080P screen which is protected with Gorilla Glass and boasts 72% NTSC colour gamut.

The second device announced by Xiaomi today is the Mi Mix 2. It is the successor to last year Mi Mix and is now more improved upon with thinner bezel and better display. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 sports a 5.99-inch with 18:9 display similar to what is obtained in Samsung S8 and Note 8.
In terms of Specs, the Mi Mix 2 comes with top of the line Snapdragon 835 together with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. Internal storage comes in either 64GB, 128GB or 256GB of storage. The one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is tagged the Special Edition and is made from to grade ceramic material.
Camera-wise, the devices houses the same 12MP Sony IMX386 similar to the one on Xiaomi Mi 6 but this time around, Xiaomi has included a 4-axis OIS on the camera. The front-facing camera is pegged at 5MP.
The battery capacity is 3400mah and comes with fast charging and USB type C. The 6GB+64GB Mi Mix 2 is priced around €420, while the 6GB+128GB variant goes for €460. Meanwhile, if you want the limited Edition variant ( 8GB+128GB), it will set you back €700.
Finally, the last device that was announced on today is the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 which is the 3rd iteration of the Mi Note series. The Mi Note 3 boasts a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. It has 6 GB of RAM and comes with either 64 or 128 GB of storage.
The major highlight of the device is the dual camera. It has a 12 MP wide-angle lens together with a 12 MP telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom, a 4-axis optical image stabilization, and 4K video recording. The front-facing camera has a 16MP selfie snapper. Other notable features are 3400mAh battery, USB 3.1, NFC, an IR blaster and stereo speakers.
Pricing wise, the 64 GB version will cost $385 while the 128 GB variant will retail for $445.
