Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 is another great smartphone from the Redmi Family that Xiaomi will be launching soon. The cute looking smartphone will be equipped with the Sony IMX362 12 Megapixel camera sensor which is a 1/2.55” sensor with large 1.4µm pixels and Dual Pixel autofocus.
The sensor is better than what obtains on the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and the Mi Mix. The Redmi Pro was Xiaomi’s first device that features an OLED LCD display, from the look of things, the Redmi Pro 2 will also be fitted with the China-made OLED panel.
The device will has a 5.5-inch FHD LCD display covered by an OLED LCD glass and will run on the Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box on top of Xiaomi’s MIUI. It will be powered by a Qualcomm snapdragon SoC. But it’s highly unlikely if it will be the Samsung manufactured Snapdragon 835.
From the leaked image, there will be two variants, the base version will have 4GB of RAM and in term of storage, there will be 64GB which can be extended to 128GB via MicroSdcard. The more advanced variant will have a large 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with no option for Microsdcard.

It will supports global 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB, and 3.5mm audio jack. The battery capacity has been pegged at 4500mAh and other features include a fingerprint, Compass and Gyroscope. Below are the key specifications and Price in India.

Since there will be two variants, the standard version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM will be priced at CNY 1,600 ($230/€220) while the pro version with 6GB/128GB of storage will cost CNY 1,800 ($260/€245).
