YouTube Music has introduced two new amazing features in its latest update.
The popular music streaming platform now features an “Explore tab” and a “Song lyrics”. This was made known on YouTube official Twitter account earlier today.
The Explore tab is basically where you can find new releases based on your search history and also browse playlists. You get to stay updated with the latest releases on the genre you listen to frequently. For the Song lyrics, it is self-explanatory. You get to sing along with your favourite music on the go. No need to search the web for the song lyrics anymore.
The new update is available on both Android and iOS platforms. The company is gradually releasing the update globally, so you might not get it instantly especially the Explore tab feature. All you need to do on your part is to make sure you have the latest version of YouTube Music.
Note that the Song lyrics feature is only available in the English language. But it’s only a matter of time before other popular languages get the feature. This song lyrics feature is for the YouTube Music mobile app i.e. browser and desktop app don’t have this update.
YouTube Music is freemium music platform. The free version is limited in terms of features and only works online, the music stops playing once the app goes offline. You’ll need to upgrade to the premium version to continue enjoying your music offline.
