ZTE just jumped on the 5G hype train by also announcing a device of theirs packing the very much talked about 5G connectivity which reportedly has twice the speed of 4G LTE. The ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G – which is the smartphone with 5G capabilities – was just announced at the ongoing MWC 2019 in Barcelona.
Now, asides the 5G, it also packs some pretty impressive specs. Starting from the outside, the Axon 10 Pro 5G has a massive 6.47-inch 1080p+ AMOLED display with a notch at the top, chin at the bottom and a fingerprint sensor underneath the display which isn’t ultrasonic.

It also packs 6GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage and of course, a Snapdragon 855 Chipset with the 5G modem. It will run Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with ZTE’s Mifavor 9.0 UI on top. As for cameras, it has a triple camera set up at the back and a single camera for selfies. The triple rear camera includes a 48MP shooter with an f/1.8 aperture, a secondary 20MP ultrawide camera and an 8MP telephoto lens. The selfie camera is a 20MP sensor.
Powering the device is a 4,000mAh battery with an 18W fast charging and Qi wirelessly. Pricing for this device hasn’t been made public if there is one thing this device won’t be, it’s cheap. Released date is also expected to within the first half of the year.
ZTE Blade V10
The second device on the list is the ZTE Blade V10 which is starting to look like a very solid Midrange. The Blade V10 has a 6.3-inch display with a 1080p+ screen resolution and a 400ppi. Aspect ratio is at 19:9 with notch up top for the selfie camera (32MP).
The undisclosed SoC on this device clocks up to 2.1GHz and will be paired with 3GB or 4GB of RAM with 32GB or 64GB of internal storage respectively. It has a dual rear camera setup (16MP + 5MP) with an LED flash and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
There is also a USB Type-C and a moderate 3,200mAh battery. Colour options will be available will be black, gradient blue and green. Unlike the 5G ZTE device, this Blade V10 will be available before Q2 of the year.
