Tecno Mobile has announced the Camon 12 Air. This is the third phone released by the smartphone company under the Camon 12 series. The first two are Tecno Camon 12 and Camon 12 Pro.
The Camon 12 Air debuts with a 6.55-inch punch-hole display, the company calls it a ” Dot-in display”. The phone became the first and unprecedented Tecno smartphone with such a display. The body build is an Aurora gradient design with macroscopic carving giving the phone a pastel and vibrant feeling.
Camera-wise, we all know the Camon series is designed to have the best camera possible. The Camon 12 Air features a triple camera setup. The main camera is a 16MP lens with AI scene detection and AI HDR and is accompanied by 2MP and 5MP sensors.
The phone is capable of taking clear, bright and charming selfies with its 8MP front-facing camera. The camera features 3D stereoscopic facial beauty, AI beauty mode, AR stickers and video beauty.
Inside the Camon 12, Air is MediaTek Helio A22 SoC with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. It runs on Android 9 Pie which is coated with Tecno HiOS skin promising a clean and bloat-free user experience.
The Tecno phone packs a non-removable 4,000 mAh battery and is optimized to give you a powerful battery performance.
The Tecno Camon 12 Air is expected to be released this September in Nigeria. For now, there is no official price but it should be in the region of N42,000.
