Redmi 13C Specs & Price

The Redmi 13C wasn’t the phone we were expecting from Xiaomi, but it is here. It comes in as an upgrade from the Redmi 12C of last year, but it doesn’t have many design differences. It comes with a glass build at the back, giving it a premium feel in hand. The phone has curved edges, but the display is flat. It supports dual 4G SIM cards, and there is also a slot for memory expansion.

The Redmi 13C has a 6.74-inch IPS LCD, which supports a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a 720p resolution, and some competing phones within its price category come with 1080p resolution. The phone also has noticeable bezels and maxes out at only 600 nits of brightness.

It runs on Android 12, and MIUI 13 is the user interface. Android 12 is way back, and we are not sure if Xiaomi is going to send an update to get it up to Android 13 or 14. They also have the new Hyper OS skin, which we might not see on the Redmi 13C. The MediaTek Helio G99 powers it with 4 or 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage space.

The primary camera of the phone is 50MP, and there are two extra 2MP cameras for macro shots and depth. It has a 5MP front-facing camera, and you can only shoot 1080p videos with the primary camera. The phone has a 5000mAh battery, and it supports only 10 watts of fast charging, which is slow by Xiaomi’s standard.
