The Redmi Note 12 Series has been available in India and China. And the brand is prepared to make it available in more markets. They confirmed in a tweet below that the global launch will be on the 23rd of March.
According to reports, the Redmi Note 12 Series will comprise the Redmi Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G, and Note 12 Pro+ 5G. They might also release the Redmi Note 12 4G and Note 12S in the Global market even though they haven’t launched officially.
The Redmi Note 12S is expected to come with a similar design to last year’s Note 11S. And there are rumors that the specs might be the same. They are adding a 67 Watts fast charging feature instead of 33 Watts to the phone.
The Redmi Note 12 4G will be the base model and will be powered by the Snapdragon 685. It is expected to have an AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is expected to come with a 50MP primary camera and a 13MP selfie camera. It will feature a 5000mAh battery with 33 watts of fast charging support. There will be a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, which is expected to run on Android 13 based on MIUI 14.
The Redmi Series phones available in China and India are the same ones expected to be released globally. There are times when Redmi typically changes the specs of the global models. The Note 12 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1, while the Pro Models are powered by the Dimensity 1080.
Redmi is also working on the Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ for the Global market. And we expect them to announce the phones soon.
