Asus unveiled two new ZenBooks at Computex in Taiwan, the event is still ongoing and OEMs are trying to impress fans with their products. Apart from the ROG Phone, we reviewed earlier, Asus also unveiled the ZenBook S UX391 and Pro 15 UX580. These laptops come with impressive specs and features.

The Zenbook Pro UX580 sports a 15.6-inch 4K screen and another small 5.5-inch display which doubles as a touchpad. It has Intel Core i9 processor and GTX 1050 Ti graphics card by Nvidia. For multitasking, the RAM got up to 16GB, while the storage space stands at 1TB SSD. Speaking of the secondary screen, which can be called a “screenpad”, you can use it to operate the details on the bigger screen or as another portable screen.

The smaller screen is just below the keyboards and can be used as a mouse or so many other things. You can also move a second window there to do a different thing from what you’re doing on the bigger screen while using it as a touchpad as well, thanks to the user interface. We can’t be sure of how useful the second screen will be, but Asus is willing to take the risk. It will be available in mid-July with a starting price of $2,299.

The ZenBook S UX391, on the other hand, has similar features with the Pro in terms of look. However, it’s more affordable coming with U-series Core i7 or i5 processors. The display is 13.3-inch in diagonal and has the option to be either 4K or 1080p with 85% screen-to-body ratio. Although there’s no secondary display on this one, It’s also ultra-light as well, weighing about 1kg.

There’s a hinge that lifts the bottom part of the notebook when opened, it’s called ErgoLift hinge. The feature is angled at 5.5 degrees for better cooling, ergonomics and audio performance. Overall, it has an unusual design from what we typically see on ZenBooks. It will be hitting stores on June 11, starting from $1,199.
