Oppo’s upcoming smartphone Find X has gotten an official launch date, it’s coming on the 19th of June and we can’t be more excited. The Oppo Find X has already been “leaked numerous times this past week, even after Oppo went mute on the Find BV series. As fans were hoping to see an Oppo X smartphone, the company went ahead to resurrect the almost forgotten Find series, with the Find X.
The first hands-on photo of the device popped up yesterday, and to afford any further unofficial leaks, the company has released a launch date. The Find X global launch event will debut at the Louvre Museum in Paris. The meaning of the X in the name isn’t known yet, but in an additional press release, the company said it’s all about the unknown, adventurous and extreme features.
Even though specs are a little too blurry at the moment, we are expecting the Oppo Find X to come with the Snapdragon 845 chipset. According to the leaked photo, there’s no fingerprint scanner at the rear, this means the Find X might have an under-screen fingerprint scanner. Just like the Mi 8 Explorer and the X20 Plus UD. We also saw dual rear cameras at the back. Hopefully, there will be more leaks before the 19th of June.
