The BlackBerry Key 2 is coming sooner than expected, and it seems Blackberry isn’t ready to let go of the hardware keyboard. The BlackBerry Key 2 retains one of the trademarks of the brand-physical keyboard and will debut on June 7, according to a tweet from the company.

The BlackBerry Key 2 was spotted on TENAA website as Athena and revealed its full looks and key specs. One of the most shocking features is the hardware keyboard, which many thought ended with the company last year. Furthermore, the phone has been revealed as BlackBerry Key 2 and not Blackberry Athena.
On top of the hardware keyboard, there’s a 4.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1620 x 1080 pixels in resolution and 3:2 aspect ratio. The screen is totally weird in a world of bigger display and taller aspect ratios, but that’s BlackBerry for you. The Key2 houses the Snapdragon 660 chip with an octa-core processor. For photographs, there’s a dual 12MP + 8MP rear camera at the top left corner.
