Design
The design of the Elephone A7H is pretty straightforward. It comes with a front glass and plastics unibody. The phone weighs 159 grams and measures 158 × 75.3 × 8.8 mm in dimensions. At the top centre of the display is a punch-hole which features the selfie camera. When you flip to the back, we have a fingerprint reader at the top middle with a dual-camera module to the left of it. Towards the bottom of the rear is the Elephone brand name.
Display
The punch-hole IPS LCD display measures 6.41 inches in size with an almost 90% screen-to-body ratio. The display features a 720p resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 294 pixels per inch density. The glass protecting the display is unspecified at this point.
Hardware and Software
Inside the hood, we have the MediaTek Helio P23 chipset with an Octa-core processor clocking at 2.0 GHz and a Mali-G71 MP2 GPU. The phone has only one memory model which is a 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. If the storage isn’t enough, you can get up to 256GB additional storage via the microSD slot. The operating system of the Elephone A7H is Android 9.0 Pie.
Camera
The camera module at the back consists of a 13 MP main lens and 0.3 MP ultrawide lens. The camera features autofocus, HDR, panorama, face detection, Geotagging and many more. It is able to record 1080p videos at 30fps. The front selfie camera features an 8 MP shooter with f/2.2 aperture. The camera supports Face ID and 6 levels of AI face beautification.
Battery
The Elephone A7H packs a non-removable Li-ion 3,900 mAh battery. It does not support either fast charging or wireless charging.
Price and Availability
Official sales for the Elephone A7H will start from February 2020. The starting price is around N47,000/$130.
