Ulefone has released the world’s first Helio P90 rugged phone with a 48MP triple camera. The company has really carved out a name for themselves with these rugged devices. The Armor series is all about durability and ruggedness. The Armor 7 will succeed the Armor 6. Let’s take a look at the newest Armor smartphone.

Design
The smartphone measures 165.85 x 81 x 13.55 mm in terms of dimensions. The 13.55 thickness might be a turn off for some people though. The overall weight of the phone is 290 grams, which is definitely a lot. Ruggedness isn’t something Ulefone came up just to sell the device.
The phone features an IP68/IP69K protection grade that will help it survive in different severe environments. It means the smartphone can last up to 30 minutes in 1.5 meters water deep. It also has a MIL-STD-810G military-grade certification. And to cap it all off, the phone’s body is made up of a high-end solid and shock resistant composite material. At the right side of the phone is the fingerprint scanner for biometric security.
Display
This beast of a phone comes with a waterdrop notch display that measures 6.3-inch in terms of size. The display features a 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, 410 PPI density, 93.9% screen-to-body ratio, and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. In order to show a more stunning, vivid and crisp image, the display comes with a high gamut lamp technology.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood is the powerful MediaTek Helio P90 2.2 GHz Octa-core processor with AI capabilities. The chipset is capable of running the most complex apps while performing multiple AI functions at the same time.
Its graphics processing unit is PowerVR GM9446. The device comes in only one memory type – 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM. The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Ulefone’s UI design. The phone comes with a Heart Rate Sensor and Pedometer. You can be able to track your health life and fitness goals. The Pedometer tracks your steps and calories burned.
Camera
The Elephone A7H comes with a triple rear camera. The camera setup consists of a Samsung GM1 48MP f/1.7 main lens, 16MP ultrawide lens with 76.4° Field of View and an 8MP telephoto lens. Many of the camera features include AI Scene Recognition, 10x zoom, and Night mode. The waterdrop notch in the display features the 16MP AI portrait selfie camera.
Battery
