Gionee launches Gionee X2 with Water-drop Display at affordable price

Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Gionee has launched a new device – the Gionee X2. This is the second phone from the company after their 7 months break. The first is the Gionee F9 Plus which was launched earlier this month.

The new Gionee X2 comes in waterdrop screen and magnificent design. The front is home to a 6.09-inch HD IPS LCD display with 20:9 aspect ratio. At the back, is a highly responsive fingerprint reader and a dual main camera. The fingerprint reader can be used to take selfies.

The dual rear camera comprising of two 13MP sensors. While the selfie camera housed in the waterdrop notch features an 8MP sensor.

Powering the Gionee X2 is MediaTek Helio A22 SoC paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. This hardware along with a non-removable Li-Ion 4,000 mAh battery guarantee long-lasting power for users. Gionee has a power saver system in place to ensure the battery doesn’t drain easily.

The Gionee X2 is available in Nigeria and comes with a starting price of N36,900. It has only one memory configuration which is 2GB RAM with 32GB internal storage.
