Huawei Honor Note 10 is Official With 5000mAh and Kirin 970 SOC

The Huawei Honor Note 10 has been launched by the company after being teased severally. It houses the Kirin 970 in-house flagship chipset which uses a liquid cooling solution thanks to AI.

This should offer 41% better heat management compared to the P20 flagships. Honor also brought on a new CPU Turbo to double with the GPU Turbo tech, this will offer a double Turbo mode. It packs a massive 5000mAh battery for longer gaming. Let’s find out more.

Design And Display

The Note series from Honor are known for their sleek looking body, it has an aluminium alloy frame and body. Although the company left out the gradient colour switch we saw on the Honor 10.

We can see the vertically placed dual rear cameras at the top middle, while the LED flash comes underneath. It measures 7.7mm in thickness and weighs 230g overall. It will be available in Midnight Black and Phantom Blue colours.

Honor ditched the notched here and opted for the standard 18:9 aspect ratio screen. Nonetheless, it has super minimal bezels and the screen stretches all the way to the sides, this will be perfect for big screen lovers.

It’s built around a tall 6.95-inch FHD+ AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 2220 pixels in resolution and 355 pixels per inch density. The screen stretches up to 81.5% screen-to-body ratio.

Hardware and Software

Doing the magic underneath is the Hisilicon Kirin 970 chip and its newer 10nm process node. It comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.4GHz tops. For graphics, the Mali-G72 MP12 graphics processor does the job.

You get to choose from three variants when it comes to storage and RAM. There’s one with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, a cheaper variant with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM. While a cheaper variant has 64GB storage and 6GB RAM. The Honor Note 10 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2.

Camera, Network And Connectivity

The new Note flagship sports dual AI-powered 16MP + 24MP rear shooters with f/1.8 aperture respectively. It comes with a LED flash and shoots 4K videos @30fps. While the 13MP selfie camera has f/2.0 aperture, AI features and Face Unlock.

The Honor Note 10 supports 4G LTE connectivity and accommodates dual Nano SIMs. It also has support for Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm jack, USB TypeC, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot and A-GPS, GLONASS.

The Huawei Honor Note 10 is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 5000mAh battery with fast charging technology. Huawei Honor Note 10 will be available on shopping stores, starting from $409 to $527, that’s about (N150,000 – N190,000).
