Over six months and less than a year after the release of the Infinix Hot 8 series, Infinix Mobility is back with the successor. The Infinix Hot 9 series features the vanilla Hot 9, Hot 9 Play and the Hot 9 Pro. Both phones look identical in terms of body structure and design.
The Infinix Hot 9 Pro is the upgraded version of the standard Hot 9 and it comes with a better chipset, larger memory and camera specs.

The Infinix Hot 9 Pro features an elegant gem cut texture design. The body is covered in a 2.5D glass. There is a fingerprint reader at the back with a rectangular shaped camera module. The device measures 8.7mm in thickness and weigh 185 grams. It has just two body colour options – Violet and Ocean Wave. The vanilla Infinix Hot 9 has four body colour options. And it’s not different from this Pro version in terms of body build and design.
The display we have here is measured at 6.6-inch and features 720p resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 266 PPI density and 480nits brightness. There is a punch-hole at the top left of the display which houses the selfie camera.
Running things in the hardware department is the MediaTek Helio P22 chipset which is built on a 12nm process tech. The chip features 2.3GHz Octa-core processor and is paired with a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. As expected, the phone operates on Infinix’s XOS 6.0 UI based on Android 10 and has many features like Social Turbo, Digital Wellbeing e.t.c
At the back of the device is an AI Quad Camera module setup. The module consists of a 48MP f/1.8 lens with 4-in-1 pixel binning, a 2MP macro lens, a 2MP depth lens, a QVGA lens and a Quad-LED flash. The camera system features AI 3D body shaping, HDR, panorama among others. For selfies, it comes with an 8MP f/2.0 in-display camera. There is also a magic LED flash to incase you find yourself in low-light condition.
It packs a non-removable 5,000 mAh battery capacity with smart AI power management. According to Infinix, this battery capacity gives you 13 hours of gaming, 18 hours of internet surfing or 14 hours of video playback.

The Infinix Hot 9 Pro costs INR9,499 for the 4GB/64GB memory version in the Indian market. The price should translate to around N59,000 in Nigeria. Note: Infinix Mobility is yet to announce the official price for the Nigerian market.
