Infinix Hot S4 has a 6.26-inch display and its display uses a 19:9 aspect ratio with a notch while the Note 5’s 6-inch display uses an 18:9 aspect ratio.
Both devices have the same height. Their display is also made of IPS LCD panels. At the back of the Infinix Hot S4 is a triple camera setup with an LED flash and a fingerprint sensor while the Note 5 has only one camera also with an LED flash and a fingerprint sensor.

Infinix Hot S4 has either 3GB or 6GB of RAM with 32GB or 64GB of internal storage respectively while the Note 5 has 3GB or 4GB of RAM with 32GB or 64GB as storage options respectively.
Hot S4 runs ton he latest Android Operating System – Android 9.0 Pie – out of the box while Note 5 runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box which can be upgraded to Android 9.0 Pie. Hot S4 comes with an XOS Skin while Note 5 doesn’t and is part of the Android One family-a stock Android with future updates.
Camera, Battery & Connectivity
A triple camera configuration is located at the back of the Infinix Hot S4 which comprises of a main 13MP shooter accompanied by a secondary 8MP camera and a 2MP camera. The camera also has an LED flash for low light shots. Note 5, on the other hand, has a single 12MP rear camera, also with an LED flash. For selfies, there is a single 16MP shooter on Note 5 with an LED flash and a single 32MP shooter on the Hot S4 with no LED flash.
Infinix Hot S4 is packing a 4,000mAh battery capacity while Note 5 has a much bigger 4,500mAh battery. Both devices support fast charging for quick refills and also have 4G LTE connectivity, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, WiFi direct, Bluetooth, GPS and a 3.5mm jack so no need for a dongle. Charging and file transfer is done through the microUSB port on both devices.

Infinix Hot S4 and Infinix Note 5 cost between N49,900 and N70,000 depending on the configuration you opt for. Now, it depends on your preference as both devices are similarly specced and priced so it boils down to the little things.
