Both devices are rocking a similarly sized display. The Infinix Hot S4 has a 6.26-inch IPS LCD display while the Tecno Camon 11 has a slightly smaller 6.2-inch IPS LCD display. Both devices display have a 19:9 aspect ratio with a water drop notch housing a single camera on the Infinix Hot S4 while on the Tecno Camon 11 is a wider notch in which it fits not only a camera but also an LED flash.

At the back of the Infinix Hot S4 is a triple camera setup while the Tecno Camon 11 has just two, Both with an LED flash and of course, a fingerprint sensor for Biometric Authentication. Both devices also have a dual SIM slot and a dedicated MicroSD slot for additional storage.

Both devices have two different MediaTek SoC on the inside. On the Infinix Hot S4 is the MediaTek Helio P22 with an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz while the Tecno Camon 11 uses a MediaTek Helio A22 with a Quad-core processor but still clocked at 2.0GHz.

Infinix Hot S4 has 3GB of RAM with 32GB of Internal storage while Tecno Camon 11 has either 3GB or 4GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage. Infinix Hot S4 being the newer device runs Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with Infinix XOS UI while Tecno Camon 11 runs an older Android 8.1 Oreo with Tecno’s HiOS UI.

Camera, Battery & Connectivity

A triple camera setup sits at the back of the Infinix Hot S4 which comprises of a main 13MP shooter accompanied by a secondary 8MP camera and a 2MP camera. The camera also has an LED flash for low light shots. At the front is a single 32MP camera tucked away in the water drop notch. Tecno Camon 11, on the other hand, has a dual rear camera configuration of 13MP and 2MP with an LED flash. The single 16MP selfie camera also has an LED flash thanks to bathtub notch.

Infinix Hot S4 is brought to Life by a 4,000mAh battery capacity while the Tecno Camon 11 has a slightly smaller 3,750mAh battery. Both devices support fast charging for quick refills. Both devices also have 4G LTE connectivity, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, WiFi direct, Bluetooth, GPS and a 3.5mm jack so no need for a dongle. Charging and file transfer is done through the microUSB port.

Infinix Hot S4 3GB/32GB configuration goes for N49,900 while the roomier 6GB/64GB configuration goes for N64,500. Tecno Camon 11 is also similarly priced at N49,000 for the 3GB/32GB while the 4GB/64GB goes for 64,000. Giving the price and the specifications/features, Infinix Hot S4 is the obvious choice – better chipset, More battery, More Camera, Newer Android version and display style. More RAM too if you’re going for the 6GB/64GB configuration.

  1. Have held both devices nd used it also I av come to find out that the specs on paper re just there both devices match up in some areas, and I come to like the camon camera than the s4. The CPU quite a match. Battery nd the pie version of Android gives the Infinix an edge.
