Infinix S5 Pro not S6 with a pop-up camera will be launched in Nigeria soon. The new Infinix S5 Pro comes with improved features and specs. Infinix Mobility is taking a different market approach for this S5 Pro. Unlike the Infinix S5 with a punch-hole camera, the S5 Pro will come with an advanced pop-up camera which will be a first for the Infinix brand.

Infinix S5 Pro Design

The Infinix S5 Pro features a front glass and plastic back with crystal feather finish. The device measures 164 x 76 x 7.9 mm in dimensions and has a weight of 178 grams.

Flip to the back, and we have a camera module housing quad cameras at the top left side. Above the Infinix brand name is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. This Infinix S5 Pro is available in Quetzal Cyan and Violet body colours.

Display

The display on the Infinix S5 Pro has been upgraded to an AMOLED which measures 6.6 inches.

It features a 720 x 1600 pixels resolution, 270 pixels per inch density and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display is dubbed “Super Cinema” display by Infinix Mobility. The bigger screen means you would enjoy watching movies with this device.

Hardware and Software

Under the hood of the Infinix S5 Pro is MediaTek Helio P35 chipset with Octa-core Cortex-A53 processor clocked at 2.0 GHz. The chipset is laced with a 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage.

The device runs on Android 9 10 and laced with Infinix’s XOS 5.5 user interface. The UI comes with new gesture controls and features. WhatsApp stories (pictures & videos) can be saved to the device. Also, with the peace sign, you can answer an incoming call.

Camera

Camera lovers will fancy this Infinix S5 Pro. It comes with four rear cameras consisting of a 48MP main sensor, 5MP telephoto sensor, 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor.

As usual, the camera has AI features to give you the best picture quality. At the front, inside the punch-hole is a 32MP selfie camera with a 4-in-1 Super Pixel Technology, f/2.0 aperture and 1.60µm pixels size. With this AI-powered selfie camera, you are guaranteed sharp, beautiful and artistic selfies always.

Battery

The Infinix S5 Pro packs a non-removable Li-Po 5,000 mAh battery capacity. The company did not say if it supports fast charging technology.

Infinix S5 Pro Price in Nigeria and Availability

Infinix S5 Pro will be launched in March, 2020 in Nigeria. The Infinix S5 Pro will retail for around N62,500 in Nigeria when it finally launches. It will be available on Jumia Nigeria and Konga for pre-order.
