iPhone 15 Pro Might come with up to 35 watts of fast charging

A leaked image of the USB C port on the iPhone series surfaced online, showing support for the Thunderbolt port. Apple complies with EU regulations, and the next generation of iPhones will come with USB-C charging ports. The company has been left behind compared to its Android rivals regarding fast charging. New developments, however, suggest that the iPhone 15 models will charge faster.

iPhone 15 Series Might Support Faster Charging

According to a report from 9to5mac, the iPhone 15 series will come with at least 35 watts of fast charging. Apple users can experience what Android users have had access to for years. The pro models of the iPhone 14 support only 27 watts of fast charging, while there are budget Android phones that support 150 watts of fast charging.

This new update will improve the charging time of the next-generation iPhones. It takes two hours to charge the iPhone 14 Pro max, which is slow.

They also stated in the publication that it is uncertain if Apple will introduce up to 35 watts of fast charging speed on all the iPhone 15 series devices. It might only be limited to iPhone 15 pro models in the typical Apple sense. There were also rumors that the device could feature stacked battery technology. If it’s true, fast charging will surely be coming on the next iPhones.

Apple has a 35 watts fast charger for sale with dual USB C ports for the MacBook Air, and it also charges iPhones at maximum speed. Earlier rumors from Apple Analyst Ming-Chi Ko suggested that fast charging might only work with certified USB C cables.
