iPhone 16 will Come with an Under Display Camera

Apple introduced the dynamic island on the iPhone 14 Pro models last year. They got rid of the notch that we became so familiar with. It’s expected that the whole of the iPhone 15 models will come with the dynamic island. But there are some fresh rumors about the iPhone 16 models not coming with Dynamic Island but rather something different.

According to a report by the ELEC, The Apple iPhone 16 pro models will come with an under-display face ID. It is aimed at giving users a more usable display area. The true depth camera will not be visible when it’s not in use. Only the lens hole on the front camera will be visible giving the display a more seamless look. The report suggests that the front-facing camera would remain on the iPhone 16 Pro models. It will be trimmed a bit to give the display a better look and give you more area to use.

The entire iPhone 15 model will come with the pill shape cut out and it’s going to be across the whole phones that will be released this year. Only the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max came with the pill shape cut out and the regular iPhone 14 and 14 plus came with the notch.

The report also suggested that Apple will adopt an under-panel camera. They will still use a front camera module under the display but when it’s not used it will not be visible. The new tech will likely be limited to only the pro models. And it will be extended to the rest of the devices in the next generation.

What do you think about an iPhone with an under-display camera? Which name do you think apple will come up with just like they did with the dynamic island let us know in the comments below.
