Itel P33 Plus Specifications and Price

Itel P33 Plus arrived alongside the  Itel P33 packing a slightly bigger display and a slightly bigger battery capacity. Everything else asides from these is identical on both devices which include a MediaTek MT6580 SoC on the inside, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage and dual rear camera setup. Design And Display

Itel P33 Plus also uses a plastic back just like its sibling. At the back is the same dual-camera setup with a fingerprint sensor at its usual spot. Colour options are Gold, Black and Blue. Turning over to the front is the 6.0-inch IPS LCD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. A selfie camera is located at the top of the bezel of the device. It also has a dual SIM slot with a dedicated SDcard slot for storage expansion.

Camera Review

The dual rear camera combination at the back of the Itel P33 Plus just like the Itel P33 Comprises of a main 8MP shooter with an f/2.2 aperture paired with the secondary 5MP sensor for portrait shots. It is equipped with an LED flash for low light photography and can record 1080p videos at 30fps. The front-facing unit is a single 5MP shooter with an f/2.0 aperture, AI face recognition and can also shoot 1080p videos at 30fps.

Hardware and Software

Inside the Itel P33 Plus is the same MediaTek MT6580 SoC on the Itel P33 which is a Quad-core chipset clocked at 1.3GHz paired with a Mali 400 MP2 GPU. This is hooked up to the 1GB of RAM which runs the Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition covered with Itel’s UI. The 16GB of storage available on this device can be expanded up to 32GB via the onboard microSD slot.

Battery & Network Connectivity

Powering this device is a big 5,000mAh battery. No fast charging here or 4G LTE Connectivity here though, but there is 3G, 2G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi hotspot, a 3.5mm jack and a micro USB port with support for USB On The Go.

Itel P33 Plus Price and Availability

The price for the Itel P33 Plus hasn’t been revealed yet but given that the Itel P33 with a smaller screen and smaller battery has a starting price of N28,000, this should be around N33,000 – N35,000.
