Vivo Z1 was launched by Vivo as one of its official smartphones for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Vivo is the official smartphone partner of this year’s FIFA World Cup and the Z1 was launched to celebrate that.
The device looks more like the V9 with its notched screen, let’s just say the Z1 is like the upgraded version. Moving further, it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage space. The dual rear shooters and selfie camera are AI-powered as well.

Vivo Z1Design
The Z1 is quite a stunner, it has a Metal overall unibody and reflects light in the most subtle way. Oh, that might be because of the glass on top, but at least it isn’t that slippery. It also sports a rear fingerprint scanner for the usual biometric verification.
The dual rear cameras are in a vertical position at the top left corner with the LED flash coming underneath, just like most flagships these days. The Z1 measures 7.89 mm in thickness and weighs just 149g overall which is super light. It’s available in Black, Blue and Red colours.

The Z1 sports the trending notched screen we’ve seen on so many flagships this year and it’s quite brilliant as usual. We also noticed the notch is super minimal here as well, this offers more screen to users.
The tall 6.26-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen here would definitely thrill those that are into big screens. It boasts of 2280 x 1080 pixels in resolution and 403 pixels per inch density. Astonishingly, the screen got up to 84.5% of the front.

The powerful Snapdragon 660 mid-range chip from Qualcomm is in charge here. It was built on a 14nm process technology for a lower power consumption. This chipset has an Octa-core processor which clocks at 2.2GHz. In the graphics department, the Adreno 512 does its job.
