Nokia 6.1 Plus Full Specs Review and Price

The Nokia 6.1 Plus is more like the X6 for the international market. The device was introduced in Hong Kong first and will be available globally as the Nokia 6.1 Plus. It has a single variant of 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.

As expected, it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Stock Android and will be part of the Android One program. It comes with the trending notched screen, dual rear cameras and other advanced features.

Design And Display

The device looks exactly like the X5 which was introduced in China by HMD Global. The 6.1 Plus sports an aluminium alloy overall unibody and looks really great. There’s a vertical foundation that houses the dual rear shooters and LED flash.

While the fingerprint scanner comes underneath and ready to unlock the device in 0.1s. When you turn to the sides, it measures just 8mm in thickness and weighs 151g overall. It will be available in Black, Blue and White colours.

Turn over to the front and behold the notch at the top. The notch is super minimal compared to what we saw on Nokia’s first smartphone with the notch. There’s another Nokia logo on the bottom chin.

The tall 5.8-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen boasts of 1080 x 2280 pixels in resolution and 432 pixels per inch density for clear visuals. It stretches up to 81.5% of the entire front as well.

The Snapdragon 636 from Qualcomm brings along its 14nm manufacturing process and an 8-core processor. The processor on this beauty clocks at 1.8GHz, while the Adreno 509 controls graphics.

There’s only a single storage space-variant here. It has 64GB storage space to accommodate all files and 4GB RAM for multitasking. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.

The main 16MP sensor has f/2.0 aperture, 1.0µm pixel size, PDAF and gyro-EIS. While the 5MP depth sensor helps in Portrait Bokeh. While the 16MP selfie camera has f/2.0 aperture and 1.0µm pixel size, there’s support for Face ID as well.
