Earlier this week, Oppo Mobile released the Oppo A52 in China. It has now been confirmed that the smartphone will enter the European market alongside another new A-series phone. The Oppo A72 is literally an upgrade of the Oppo A52 and will be expected to cost more.

The smartphone is identical in terms of body build with the Oppo A52. Its rear camera module consists of a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The only difference here being the main sensor with the Oppo A52 featuring a 12MP sensor.
The selfie camera is also upgraded from an 8MP (Oppo A52) to a 16MP shooter. The camera is housed inside a punch-hole in the 6.5-inch display which features 1080p resolution.
Under the hood is the Snapdragon 665 chipset which is married to a 4GB RAM and a 128GB built-in storage. It runs on Oppo’s ColorOS 7.1 which is based on Android 10 operating system. On the side of the phone is a fingerprint reader for biometric security. At the bottom is a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Oppo A72 packs a 5,000 mAh battery capacity and supports 18W fast wired charging. There is no information regarding when both the Oppo A72 and A52 will arrive in Europe. We do know that the first country is Germany. Their euro prices are also unknown at this point.
