Tecno Spark 30 5G Design and Specs Unveiled in FCC Certification

Tecno is reportedly gearing up to launch its latest smartphone, the Spark 30 5G, expected to succeed last year’s Spark 20, which debuted in December. The upcoming device has recently surfaced on the FCC certification website, offering a glimpse into its key specifications and design.

Listed under the model number KL8 with FCC ID 2ADYY-KL8, the Tecno Spark 30 5G features a distinctive squircle-shaped camera module—resembling a square with curved edges—according to the schematic render. The device also appears to have its power and volume buttons on the right side, with the power button likely doubling as a fingerprint scanner.

The FCC listing reveals that the Spark 30 5G will support 18W fast charging and will come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device is expected to measure 165 x 76 x 8mm. While other details remain undisclosed, the listing confirms 5G connectivity, indicating that the phone will likely be equipped with a 5G-compatible processor. More information is anticipated as the device appears on additional certification platforms.

For reference, the Tecno Spark 20, released last year, featured a 6.6-inch display with a center-aligned punch-hole, HD resolution, and a 90Hz refresh rate. It was powered by a Helio G85 processor and available in two variants: 4GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. The Spark 20 also boasted a 50MP main camera, a 0.08MP secondary sensor, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
