Redmi Note 14 Receives 3C Certification in China, Highlights Enhanced Fast Charging

Redmi is reportedly developing the Redmi Note 14 series of smartphones for the Chinese market. Last month, China’s radio certification platform approved three new Xiaomi phones with model numbers 24115RA8EC, 24094RAD4C, and 24094RAD4C. Additionally, the 3C authority has approved the model 24090RA29C, which is expected to be marketed as the Redmi Note 14.

The 3C certification for the Redmi 24094RAD4C indicates it may come with an MDY-17-EE charger. For comparison, the Redmi Note 13, equipped with the Dimensity 6080 chipset, supported 33W rapid charging. The Note 14 is expected to support up to 45W fast charging with its new charger.

While specific details about the Redmi Note 14 remain unknown, the 3C certification suggests a potential launch by the end of this month or in September.

A recent report also indicated that the Redmi Note 14 will have global and Indian variants, with model numbers 24094RAD4G and 24094RAD4I appearing in the IMEI database. The Note 14 series is expected to reach other markets by January 2025.

Reports suggest that the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+ will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and Dimensity 7350 chipsets, respectively. Both models are anticipated to feature a 50-megapixel triple camera setup and a curved-edge OLED screen with 1.5K resolution.
