Tecno is gearing up to introduce its new SPARK 30C series, aimed at boosting competition in the affordable smartphone market. The upcoming series, recently spotted in the IMEI database by the Gizmochina team, includes two models: the SPARK 30C 4G and SPARK 30C 5G.
According to the IMEI listing, the SPARK 30C 4G is identified by model number KL5, while the SPARK 30C 5G is listed as KL8. Tecno hopes the new series will make a significant impact in the budget-friendly smartphone segment.
The SPARK 30C 4G will feature a 720×1600 resolution display, a 48MP+8MP dual camera setup, and a 5000mAh battery, all powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 chipset. Notably, this will be the first smartphone to debut with the Helio G81. Meanwhile, its competitor, the Redmi 14C, will utilize the more advanced MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset. While technical details for the SPARK 30C 5G remain undisclosed, it is speculated to have similarities with Tecno’s SPARK 30 5G and POP 9 5G models.
Tecno has yet to confirm an official release date for the SPARK 30C series, though industry insiders anticipate an announcement in the near future.
