The flagship Xiaomi 15 Pro comes loaded with advanced features, including Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and an impressive Leica-powered camera system. Here’s an in-depth look at its key specifications.
Xiaomi 15 Pro Specifications
The Xiaomi 15 Pro features a 6.73-inch 2K OLED curved display, boasting a 3200 x 1440 resolution. It uses TCL CSOT’s M9 luminous materials with a dual-layer microcavity structure, reducing power consumption by 24% over the Xiaomi 14 Pro. The screen offers LTPO adaptive refresh rates from 1-120Hz and supports three-level screen partition refresh, enhancing both efficiency and viewing quality.
With a 300Hz touch sampling rate and a 2,560Hz instantaneous touch response rate, the display is exceptionally responsive. It also delivers a peak brightness of 3,200 nits and features Xiaomi’s Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0, which provides up to 30% better drop resistance.
Equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, powered by the second-generation Oryon CPU, the Xiaomi 15 Pro brings a 45% increase in single-core and multi-core performance and a 44% boost in energy efficiency compared to its predecessor. It includes LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, enhancing multitasking and data speeds, while a wing-shaped cooling system with a 4,053mm² heat dissipation area and Xiaomi’s HyperCore microarchitecture scheduler further optimizes performance.
Running on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2, the device is engineered to enhance system performance and power efficiency, supporting seamless integration within Xiaomi’s ecosystem.
The camera system is a standout, featuring a Leica-powered triple-lens setup. It includes a 50MP Sony LYT900 main sensor (f/1.44, OIS), a 50MP ultra-wide Samsung S5KJN1 sensor (f/2.2), and a 50MP Sony IMX858 periscope telephoto lens with OIS. The periscope lens provides 5x optical zoom, 10x lossless zoom, and up to 20x UltraZOOM, with Leica-customized optics and Xiaomi’s ALD coating for enhanced clarity. The front camera is a 32MP OmniVision OV32B40 sensor, ideal for high-quality selfies.
Xiaomi’s latest flagship also introduces dynamic photos (Live Photos), a first for Android devices, enabling sharing on popular platforms like Weibo and Xiaohongshu.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro is powered by a 6,100mAh battery with cobalt lithium and silicon-carbon nanotube construction, delivering an 850Wh/L energy density and retaining 80% capacity after 1,600 cycles. It supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging, with Xiaomi’s Surge P3 and G1 chips boosting charging efficiency.
Additional features include satellite connectivity with a 3.5km offline communication range, facilitated by the Surge T1S signal enhancement chip. The phone is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance, has Wi-Fi 7 compatibility, stereo speakers, USB 3.2 Gen 1, an X-axis linear motor, and an infrared remote control.
