Vivo has officially launched the V40 and V40 Pro smartphones in India, marking the first models in the V series to feature Zeiss lenses for the cameras. Targeting the segment just below flagship devices, these new models come packed with impressive specifications and features.
Vivo V40 Pro Specifications and Features
The Vivo V40 Pro, the higher-end model, boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, HDR10+, peak brightness of 4500 nits, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The device is fueled by a 5,500mAh battery that supports 80W wired fast charging.
Running on the Android 14-based Funtouch OS, the V40 Pro features a Zeiss-lens 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX816 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. Additionally, it includes a smart Aura Light on the rear and a 50-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Other notable features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, a slim 7.58mm body, and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
