TECNO Camon 15 Vs 15 Pro: Design
The body build of both Camon phones is the same; front glass with plastic back and frame. The design is quite different due to its camera setup. The Tecno Camon 15 features a Dot-in display which houses its selfie camera.
Whereas, the Camon 15 Pro features a motorized pop-up selfie camera. At the back of both devices is a fingerprint reader along with a quad-camera module. The available body colours for the Camon 15 is Fascinating Purple, Shoal Gold and Jade. While for the Camon 15 Pro, it’s Opal White and Ice Jadeite.

The Tecno Camon 15 is equipped with a 6.55-inch Dot-in display with HD+ resolution. The Camon 15 Pro obviously has a better display spec. Even though its Fullview display measures a slightly shorter 6.53-inch, it features an FHD+ resolution.

The rear camera is essentially the same on both Camon phones. The rear camera module consists of four cameras. These cameras are a 48MP main sensor, a 5MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP of both macro camera and ultra night lens. The main difference is in the front-facing camera department. The Camon 15 packs a 16MP AI selfie camera. While the Camon 15 Pro features a motorized pop-up 32MP AI selfie camera. Both selfie cameras support Face unlock, face beauty and portrait mode.
Hardware and Software
Powering both Camon smartphones is the MediaTek Helio P35 chip with an Octa-core processor clocking at 2.35 GHz and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The memory configuration of the Camon 15 is 4GB/64GB while that of the Camon 15 Pro is 6GB/128GB. Running inside both the Camon 15 and Camon 15 Pro is HiOS 6 user interface based on the Android 10 operating system.
Battery
This is probably the only department where the Camon 15 has an upper hand. The Tecno Camon 15 packs a huge 5,000 mAh battery capacity. This is a 25% increase from what you have on the Tecno Camon 15 Pro (4,000 mAh).
Verdict
The Camon 15 costs INR9,999 while the Camon 15 Pro goes for INR14,999. As you can see from our comparison, the Camon 15 Pro has a better display, selfie camera, and memory. While the Camon 15 will appeal to battery lovers. The best value here is the Tecno Camon 15 with its 5,000 mAh battery.
