itel recently released itel P33 and its bigger brother – the Itel P33 Plus. Both devices have almost the same specifications with the Plus on the latter standing for an actual Plus on the screen size and a bigger battery. Asides from these two aspects, the rest is pretty much the same starting off from SoC to RAM, to Cameras and down to the storage. Let’s see what differences exist between these two devices.
Itel P33 Vs P33 Plus
Design & Display
itel P33 and P33 Plus being entry-level devices use a plastic body. At the back of both devices are a fingerprint sensor and a dual-camera setup. Turning over to the front is perhaps the first noticeable difference between these two devices. itel P33 has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display while Itel P33 Plus has a bigger 6.0-inch IPS LCD display. Both displays use the new 18:9 aspect and have a 2.5D curved flash on top for screen protection.
The bezels at the top are occupied by the single front-facing camera on both devices and can also be used for face unlock a.k.a FaceID. The Colour options available are the same on both devices which are Blue, Black and Gold. Both devices also have dual SIM card slots and a dedicated MicroSD card slot for storage expansion.
Hardware & Software
When it comes to hardware and software, both the itel P33 and P33 Plus are identical. Both devices are equipped with MediaTek MT6580 Chipset which has a Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.4GHz alongside a Mali 400 MP2 GPU. The SoC on both devices is paired with 1GB of RAM which runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition. The Android 8.1 Oreo is covered with itel’s UI of course. Storage on both devices stands at 16GB but taken up to 32GB via the dedicated MicroSD card slot on board.
Camera, Battery & Connectivity
